DeLand-Weldon won the last time they faced Calvary Christian Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles walked away with a 2-0 win over the Knights.

DeLand-Weldon never let Calvary Christian Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-14, 27-25.

DeLand-Weldon's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ellie Hayward, who had seven digs and three aces. Another player making a difference was Makenna Woods, who had eight digs.

They weren't the only good servers: DeLand-Weldon was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Calvary Christian Academy only served one.

DeLand-Weldon's victory bumped their record up to 12-16. As for Calvary Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-17.

DeLand-Weldon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Fisher on the 15th. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Decatur Christian at 5:30 p.m.
