Softball Recap: Sutherlin Comes Up Short

Sutherlin lost against Douglas on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Trojans, falling 12-1. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sutherlin saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sophie Crandall, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Sutherlin's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Douglas, they pushed their record up to 16-2 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home.

While Sutherlin had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
