Westfield is 8-1-1 against Nimitz since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Mustangs are taking a road trip to challenge the Cougars at 6:45 p.m. Westfield's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Friday just wasn't the day for Westfield's offense. They came up short against Dekaney on Friday, falling 8-0. That's two games in a row now that Westfield have lost by exactly eight goals.

Meanwhile, Nimitz managed to keep up with Aldine until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the Mustangs. Nimitz have struggled against Aldine recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Westfield's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Nimitz, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10-1.

Westfield beat Nimitz by a goal in their previous meeting back in February of 2025, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
