It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but St. Vincent de Paul had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Hughson Huskies 42-14. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won 12 games by 27 points or more so far this season.

Mason Caturegli was his usual excellent self, rushing for 144 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 carries. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.1 rushing touchdowns per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabe Casanovas, who threw for 181 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 passes.

St. Vincent de Paul was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 274 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2023.
