Softball Recap: Wednesday's Win Is Bedford's Fifth in Last Six Outings

While Bedford didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-10), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Tecumseh Indians by a score of 5-2 on Wednesday. This was payback for the Kicking Mules, who suffered an 18-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Bedford is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Tecumseh, they moved to 6-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bedford will face off against Dundee at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tecumseh, they will challenge Dexter at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
