Volleyball Recap: Burleson Takes a Loss

Burleson's tournament run continued when they took on Forney on Thursday. The Elks fell 2-0 to the Jackrabbits. The Elks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Anna Davis paced Burleson's offense, picking up eight kills. Davis got some help from Brooklyn Lynes and her 11 assists.

Burleson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Forney, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Burleson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against El Dorado on the 21st. As for Forney, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Aledo on the 21st.
