The Montgomery Academy Eagles will square off against the Lee-Scott Academy Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Montgomery Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Lee-Scott Academy likes a good challenge.
Montgomery Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They never let Flomaton get on the board and left with a 42-0 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Eagles' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 50th, while the Hurricanes are ranked 171st).

Montgomery Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Reid McBride out in front who threw for 155 yards and four TDs while completing 84.6% of his passes. Jarrett Friendly was in the mix too, providing the Eagles with three touchdowns.
Montgomery Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 225 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 161 rushing yards in seven consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Lee-Scott Academy waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They breezed past the Wildcats to the tune of 42-14. Considering the Warriors have won six matchups by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Montgomery Academy better keep an eye on Brooks Zachry. He was instrumental in Lee-Scott Academy's win, rushing for 198 yards and five scores while picking up 7.3 yards per carry, and also picking up 39 receiving yards and one TD. Zachry is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Max Hammer was another key signal caller, throwing for 122 yards and one touchdown while completing 87.5% of his passes.

Montgomery Academy's record is now 10-1. As for Lee-Scott Academy, their record now sits at 9-2.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Montgomery Academy has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 205.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Lee-Scott Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 213.5 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
