Stamford's victory bumped their record up to 20-4. As for Ropes, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 27-7.

Looking ahead, Stamford will square off against Gruver on Saturday. The Greyhounds' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Ropes does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
