Maple Grove entered their tilt with St. Michael-Albertville on Wednesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 9-4 victory over the Knights. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in April.

Maple Grove's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for St. Michael-Albertville, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-7.

Coming up, Maple Grove will venture away from home to challenge Edina at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets' pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so the Crimson's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for St. Michael-Albertville, they will square off against Moorhead at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
