The Divide County Maroons will face off against Alexander on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Alexander will be up against a hot Divide County team: the squad just extended their winning streak to seven. The Maroons blew past Kenmare/Bowbells/Burke Central, posting a 41-14 win.

Meanwhile, Alexander took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 48-12 victory over Nedrose. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Alexander's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota football rankings (they are ranked fifth, while Nedrose is ranked 28th).

Divide County's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Alexander, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 7-0.

Divide County was dealt a bruising 48-21 defeat at the hands of Alexander in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Maroons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
