Basketball Recap: Watkins Memorial Comes Up Short

Watkins Memorial was the 50-42 winner over Northridge when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Watkins Memorial Warriors fell just short of the Northridge Vikings by a score of 53-50 on Tuesday.

Watkins Memorial has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Northridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Watkins Memorial will face off against Zanesville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northridge, they will square off against Utica at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
