Football Game Preview: Morrison Mustangs vs. Marquette Crusaders + How To Watch

The Morrison Mustangs will square off against the Marquette Crusaders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Morrison will bounce into Friday's game after beating Fulton, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Mustangs walked away with a 31-21 victory over the Steamers on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marquette). They blew past Knoxville, posting a 59-6 win. The result was nothing new for the Crusaders, who have now won five matchups by 31 points or more so far this season.

Morrison better keep an eye on Grant Dose. He was instrumental in Marquette's win, rushing for 170 yards and four TDs on only 12 carries. Those four rushing touchdowns gave Dose a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Blayden Cassel, who picked up 60 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Marquette's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Morrison, their win bumped their record up to 2-6.
