Volleyball Recap: Oneonta Falls to Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake in First Game of Season

Oneonta kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-14.

Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake found their leader in sophomore Audri Chamberlain, who had 11 digs and three assists.

The win made it two in a row for Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake and bumps their season record up to 4-0-1.

Coming up, Oneonta is taking a road trip to challenge Waverly at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against John Glenn on the 6th.
