Baseball Recap: Piscataway Vo-Tech Takes a Loss

Piscataway Vo-Tech lost against Carteret back in April of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Raiders took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ramblers. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Piscataway Vo-Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Carteret, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season.

Piscataway Vo-Tech will head out on the road to challenge Perth Amboy Vo-Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Patriots have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.77 runs per game on average), something the Raiders will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Carteret, they will welcome Spotswood at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Chargers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Ramblers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
