Volleyball Recap: Georgetown Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Georgetown lost against Pentucket Regional back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Royals lost 3-0 to Pentucket Regional.

While Georgetown was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Pentucket Regional's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-14, 29-27.

Georgetown now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Pentucket Regional, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Georgetown will take on North Reading at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pentucket Regional, they will square off against Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
