Football Recap: Coram Deo Academy Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Coram Deo Academy challenged Pantego Christian on Friday. The Lions took a 62-43 bruising from the Panthers. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost three in a row.

Pantego Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Anthony Jackson, who rushed for 310 yards and four scores while picking up 10.7 yards per carry. Thanks to that big game, Jackson is now up to 13 rushing touchdowns on the season. Hayes Young was another key signal caller, throwing for 226 yards and four TDs while completing 73.7% of his passes.

Coram Deo Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Pantego Christian, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
