Aloha and Southridge are an even 2-2-3 against one another since October of 2015, but likely not for long. The Warriors will take on the Skyhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Aloha's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for ten straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Aloha had taken Westview down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Monday. The Warriors came up short against the Wildcats, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Aloha can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon soccer rankings (they are ranked 135th, while Westview are ranked 23rd).

Meanwhile, Southridge can bid farewell to their three-match losing streak thanks to their match on Monday. They and Sunset finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Southridge have been dealt a draw since back in September.

Aloha's loss dropped their record down to 0-9-1. Southridge's draw gives them a new season record of 2-6-2.

Aloha beat Southridge by a goal in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
