Volleyball Game Preview: Corbin Redhounds vs. Somerset Briar Jumpers

The Corbin Redhounds will square off against the Somerset Briar Jumpers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Corbin is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Knott County Central just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, Somerset beat Boyle County 2-0 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Briar Jumpers.

Somerset's victory bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Corbin, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 17-8.

Corbin was able to grind out a solid win over Somerset in their previous matchup back in August of 2021, winning 3-1. Will the Redhounds repeat their success, or do the Briar Jumpers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
