After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Waterford, Burlington was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Kenosha Tremper Trojans 7-5. The win continues a trend for the Demons in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won three in a row.
Ashleigh Schkeryantz and Raegan Ludwig did most of the damage at the plate: Schkeryantz went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double, while Ludwig went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That's the most RBI Schkeryantz has posted since back in April. Emersyn Biedrzycki was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Burlington's victory bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Kenosha Tremper, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-16.
