Gabriel Covarrubias was a major factor in San Benito's victory over Edinburg North on Monday. Covarrubias produced his best game of the campaign: he went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.

Coming up, Covarrubias and San Benito will look to defend their home field on March 17th against Weslaco at 6:30 p.m. San Benito has some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since March of 2016, but a win here would be a good start.
