Volleyball Recap: Camden Comes Up Short

Camden came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Minneapolis Southwest Lakers, falling 3-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Patriots were not able to get on the board.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-11, 25-18.

Amin Ait Benhaddou paced Camden's offense, picking up seven kills. Ait Benhaddou got some help from Listubtxawg Xiong and his eight assists.

Camden dropped their record down to 3-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Camden will challenge Hmong Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Minneapolis Southwest will be paying especially close attention to the Patriots' matchup: after the Patriots face off against Park Center, they'll take on Minneapolis Southwest again at 7:00 p.m. on May 6.
