A Season-Best Effort from Jacob Brown Leads Pine Bush over Warwick

Sadly, Jacob Brown posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Pine Bush over Warwick on Thursday. Brown rushed for 146 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 75 yards.

Pine Bush's defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-3. Brown and Pine Bush will take on Newburgh Free Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Ethan Maldonado's big game helped extend Monroe-Woodbury's winning streak to six on Thursday. Maldonado turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 109 yards and three touchdowns.
