Softball Recap: Lindsay Sets Scoring Season-High Against Saint Jo

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lindsay). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Saint Jo Panthers an 18-0 shutout on Friday. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Kinley Dangelmayr looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kylie Hielckert, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in RBI. Another player making a difference was Reagan Swaney, who scored three runs while going 2-for-2.

Lindsay hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most two strikeouts in three consecutive matches.

Lindsay now has a winning record of 6-5.

Coming up, Lindsay will take on Bryson at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The contest will give Bryson their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Saint Jo, they will head out to challenge Era at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
