Basketball Recap: Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran Comes Up Short

If Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran was feeling good fresh off their 63-42 takedown of Gillett last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran Blazers lost 66-42 to the Almond-Bancroft Eagles on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Blazers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 429th, while the Eagles are ranked 101st).

Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Almond-Bancroft, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.
