Football Game Recap: Bullitt Central vs. South Oldham

Everything came up roses for South Oldham against Bullitt Central on Friday as the squad secured a 70-14 win. The lopsided score is just par for the course this season for South Oldham, who can brag about five blowout wins.

The South Oldham offense pulled no punches in the first half and blazed their way to 34 points. Bullitt Central wasn't quite able to keep up, scoring 14 to make it 34-14 heading into the break. South Oldham put the contest away in the third quarter with 21 points from the offense and zero points allowed from the defense. The victory was the 7th in a row for them, as they raised their record to 7-1. The defeat dropped Bullitt Central's record to 5-3.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. South Oldham will take on North Bullitt at home at 7:30 PM next week. South Oldham will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. As for Bullitt Central, they will face off against Nelson County. Nelson County are limping into the match on a nine-game losing streak.
