Football Recap: Miami Springs Starts off Right with Win over Jackson

Miami Springs had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Their defense stepped up to hand the Jackson Generals a 14-0 shutout on Tuesday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Golden Hawks were the (much) better team in the second half.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Miami Springs will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Miami Beach at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Jackson, they will square off against Carol City at 3:30 p.m. on February 25th.
