Basketball Recap: Williston-Elko Comes Up Short

Williston-Elko lost against North back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Williston-Elko Blue Devils were outmatched by the North Eagles and fell 73-35. The game marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Stetson Stacks continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for North, going 8 of 19 en route to 25 points in addition to six boards and five steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Stacks has scored at least a third of North's points. Michael Felder was another key player, putting up 11 points and six rebounds.

Williston-Elko has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season. As for North, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Williston-Elko and Wagener-Salley will face off at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Williston-Elko is facing Wagener-Salley at the right time seeing as Wagener-Salley is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for North, they will take on Ridge Spring-Monetta at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in North's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven matchups.
