Baseball Game Preview: Cane Ridge Ravens vs. Pearl-Cohn Firebirds

Cane Ridge came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 11-1 to University School of Nashville. The defeat continues a trend for the Ravens in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Pearl-Cohn was not able to break out of their rough patch last Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Maplewood.

Joshua Wilson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with three stolen bases and one run. Another player making a difference was Antruan Hockett, who got on base in both of his plate appearances with four stolen bases and one run.

Cane Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Pearl-Cohn, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.
