Football Game Preview: Bridge Creek Bobcats vs. Clinton Red Tornadoes

The Bridge Creek Bobcats will take on the Clinton Red Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Bridge Creek is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. Everything went their way against Douglass on Friday as they made off with a 39-18 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won four in a row.

Bridge Creek had a senior duo take command as Keaten Morrow threw for 277 yards and five touchdowns on only 18 passes and Lathan McKnight picked up 231 receiving yards and four TDs. McKnight's longest reception was for an incredible 76 yards.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Clinton ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Weatherford 22-21.

Clinton's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Bridge Creek, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
