Basketball Game Preview: Caledonia-Mumford Raiders vs. Le Roy Oatkan Knights

Caledonia-Mumford is on a ten-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Le Roy is on a six-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Caledonia-Mumford Raiders will host the Le Roy Oatkan Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Last Monday, Caledonia-Mumford made easy work of Wheatland-Chili and carried off a 41-18 win. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Le Roy got the win against Warsaw on Tuesday by a conclusive 58-38. Given the Oatkan Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 309th, while the Tigers are ranked 691st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Caledonia-Mumford is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Le Roy, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.
