Basketball Recap: Fieldcrest Extends Road Winning Streak to 15

After losing to Lexington the last time they met, Fieldcrest decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Fieldcrest Knights walked away with a 68-55 win over the Lexington Minutemen on Tuesday.

Lexington's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Micah Coffman, who went 6 of 15 en route to 17 points. Another player making a difference was Joe Cheever, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.

Fieldcrest's victory was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.2 points per game. As for Lexington, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-5.
