The Fairview Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. Everything went their way against Erie First Christian Academy as Fairview made off with a 63-42 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Fairview has posted yet this season.
Despite the loss, Erie First Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Avery Collins scored 25 points. That was a full 59.5% of Erie First Christian Academy's points, marking the eighth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Tyshaun Tate, who scored nine points.
Fairview's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Erie First Christian Academy, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
Fairview will be playing in front of their home fans against Mercyhurst Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Erie First Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Iroquois at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
