Volleyball Recap: Valor Christian Beats Resurrection Christian for Their Seventh Straight Win

Valor Christian faced Resurrection Christian in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Eagles won by a set and slipped past the Cougars 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Valor Christian was led to victory by Piper McFadden and Camble Booth. McFadden hit 71.4% for ten kills and 12 digs and one block, while Booth had ten kills, six digs, and two aces. McFadden is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 13 every time she's taken the court this season.

When it comes to explaining why Resurrection Christian lost, don't look at Blake Coors. Despite the final result, she had 24 digs and one assist.

Valor Christian's win bumped their record up to 20-2. As for Resurrection Christian, they moved to 21-2 with that defeat, which also ended their four-match winning streak.
