Leyton won the last time they faced Creek Valley, and Zaili Benish did her part to make sure it happened again. The Leyton Warriors breezed past the Creek Valley Storm to the tune of 82-27 on Friday thanks in part to Benish, who went 22 for 28 en route to 50 points along with eight steals and six assists. The contest was her 29th in a row with at least 15 points.

Another player making a difference was Shawnee Gamble, who posted eight points in addition to ten assists and four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 11 games she's played.

Several Storm players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Karsyn Burgman, who scored eight points.

Leyton's record is now 17-2. As for Creek Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-14.

Leyton has already played their next game, a 68-27 victory against Hyannis on the 8th. As for Creek Valley, they are taking a road trip to challenge Minatare at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Creek Valley is facing Minatare at the right time seeing as Minatare is stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
