Softball Recap: Lompoc Braves vs. Arroyo Grande Eagles
There's no place like home for Lompoc, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They came out on top against the Arroyo Grande Eagles by a score of 6-3 on Friday. For the Braves, this counts as revenge for the 18-5 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.
Alex Brooks spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on six hits and racked up six Ks.
At the plate, Rianna Stouppe was excellent, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.
