Soccer Game Preview: Quantico vs. Wakefield Country Day

The Quantico Warriors will head out on the road to square off against the Wakefield Country Day Owls at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Quantico came up short against Tandem Friends on Thursday, falling 4-1. Quantico haven't had much luck with Tandem Friends recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, Wakefield Country Day kept a clean sheet against Wakefield School on Friday. They came out on top against the Fighting Owls by a score of 2-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Wakefield Country Day were the better team in the second half.

The victory made it two in a row for Wakefield Country Day and bumps their season record up to 3-9. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored seven goals over those two matches. As for Quantico, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Quantico took their victory against Wakefield Country Day in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 5-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
