Softball Recap: Smiths Station Comes Up Short

Smiths Station and Auburn squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Smiths Station had to settle for second. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 8-0. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-2 defeat on Saturday.

Smiths Station has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-23-1 record this season. As for Auburn, they pushed their record up to 25-16 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

As of now, neither Smiths Station nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
