Football Recap: Cleveland Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Cleveland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 34-23 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crenshaw Cougars. The Cavaliers were down 28-3 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

When it comes to explaining why Cleveland lost, don't look at Brandon Maldonado. Despite the final result, he rushed for 26 yards and one touchdown, and also caught one TD.

Cleveland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Crenshaw, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Cleveland and Crenshaw will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Cavaliers are set to square off against their familiar foe Chatsworth at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Crenshaw will face off against rival Dorsey at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
