Baseball Recap: Naples Comes Up Short

Naples was the 16-15 winner over South Seneca when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Big Green Machines fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 4-2 on Monday. The Big Green Machines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ollie Bruen was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with five stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Naples is 5-1 when Bruen posts two or more stolen bases, but 0-5 otherwise.

Naples now has a losing record of 5-6. As for South Seneca, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-1.
