Lincoln's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Junior Curtis, who rushed for 113 yards and one score. With that strong performance, Curtis is now averaging an impressive 101 rushing yards per game. Courtney Miller-Thompson also helped out with an impressive 89 receiving yards.

Mission Viejo's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Luke Fahey, who threw for 234 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Davonte Curtis helped Fahey out on the ground, rushing for 84 yards and two TDs.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lincoln fell to 3-1. As for Mission Viejo, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
