Basketball Game Preview: Bruton Panthers vs. Lafayette Rams

Bruton hasn't had much luck against Lafayette recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bruton Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lafayette Rams at 6:00 p.m.

Last Thursday, Bruton ended up a good deal behind Poquoson and lost 54-38. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Lafayette entered their tilt with Poquoson on Monday with three consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 58-47 win over the Islanders.

Lafayette's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Bruton, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.

Bruton suffered a grim 56-34 defeat to Lafayette in their previous meeting back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Lafayette's MaKayla Keys, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten assists. Now that Bruton knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
