River View had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Saturday. They walked away with  a   2-0  victory over the Marietta Tigers. The Black Bears were shut out  3-0 the last time they took on the Tigers, so the Black Bears were just returning the favor.
 River View easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20,  25-12.
 River View was led to victory by  Lindyn Fry and  Audrey Buxton.  Fry  had 12  digs, while  Buxton  had six  digs. That's the most  digs  Buxton has posted since back in September.
 Marietta's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Haley Wilkinson, who  had 15  digs. Wilkinson is  crushing it when it comes to  digs: she's   had at least 15 every time she's  taken the court this season.  Addie Graham was another key player,  getting ten  digs and nine  assists.
River View's win bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Marietta, the  defeat was their first  on the road , dropping their record down to 13-6.
 Coincidentally, River View and Marietta will both be playing Miami Trace the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Panthers at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday, while the Black Bears will play them later in the day, at 1:00  p.m.
