Addison and Berry squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Addison had to settle for second. They received a blow as they fell 54-38 to the Berry Wildcats.
Ayden Lake Norris was his usual excellent self, rushing for 234 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 14.6 yards per carry, and also catching a touchdown for Berry. Lake Norris has been hot for a while, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last nine times he's played. Ace Norris was another key player, rushing for 106 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
Addison's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Berry, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.
Addison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Berry, they will be playing at home against Spring Garden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Spring Garden will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Berry surely won't give up without a fight.
