Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Field Kindley). They blew past the Columbus Titans 16-6 on Thursday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Golden Tornado as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Field Kindley let Haydn Main and Bennett Thompson run wild. Main went 1-for-3 with five stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI, while Thompson got on base in two of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs. Main has become a key player for Field Kindley: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 2-5 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Brody Foster, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI.

The win got Field Kindley back to even at 5-5. As for Columbus, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-4 record.

Coming up, Field Kindley will host Pittsburg at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Columbus, they will challenge Labette County on Tuesday.
