Basketball Recap: Norco Takes a Loss

Norco was the 83-58 winner over Corona when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Norco Cougars took a 56-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Corona Panthers on Thursday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Norco's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Corona, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norco won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Entrepreneur at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Corona, they will host King at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Corona knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully King likes a good challenge.
