Volleyball Recap: Shadyside Tigers vs. Caldwell Redskins
Shadyside was the 3-2 winner over Caldwell when they last played one another back in October of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Shadyside Tigers lost 3-0 to the Caldwell Redskins on Monday.
After all that action, the final score was 25-17, 25-15, 25-12.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aubrey Nippert, who had eight digs and two aces. Nippert is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had six or more in the last 18 games she's played dating back to last season.
Shadyside has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Caldwell, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.
Shadyside didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss vs. Monroe Central on the 10th. As for Caldwell, they are on the road again on Thursday to play Barnesville at 5:30 p.m.
