Basketball Recap: Teton Falls Short Against Ranked South Fremont

On Friday, Teton faced South Fremont in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Teton Timberwolves took a hard 55-39 fall against the South Fremont Cougars. That makes it the first time this season the Timberwolves have let down their home crowd.

South Fremont's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kenzly Neville, who posted 13 points in addition to seven boards and six assists. Hayden Larson was another key player, going 5 of 11 on her way to 13 points and five rebounds.

Teton's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 14-4. As for South Fremont, their record now sits at 17-2.

Teton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 50-47 victory against North Fremont on the 25th. As for South Fremont, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 70-48 win against Firth on the 29th.
