Oak Hill had won five straight home games and Jace Tonagel did his part to make it six on Friday. The Oak Hill Golden Eagles breezed past the Elwood Panthers to the tune of 58-28 thanks in part to Tonagel, who almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine rebounds. What's more, he racked up seven steals, the most he's had since back in February of 2024.

Oak Hill's win bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Elwood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-15.

Looking ahead, Oak Hill will venture away from home to square off against Northwestern at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Oak Hill is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.8 points per game this season. As for Elwood, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Cowan at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
