Basketball Game Preview: Southside Tigers vs. Westside Rams

The Southside Tigers are taking a road trip to challenge the Westside Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Friday, Southside ended up a good deal behind Fountain Inn and lost 43-24. The matchup marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, after a string of ten wins, Westside's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They received a blow as they fell 59-44 to Central Pointe Christian Academy National.

Westside's defeat dropped their record down to 11-2. As for Southside, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.

Southside couldn't quite finish off Westside in their previous matchup back in January of 2022 and fell 42-40. Can Southside avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
