Volleyball Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss

Riverside extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping them down to 1-8. They came up short against the Greybull Buffaloes, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Rebels have suffered since October 1, 2024.

As for Greybull, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-8. The matchup marked their most dominant victory of the season.

Greybull can attribute much of their success to Shayne Cheatham, who had 16 digs. Cheatham has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Riverside will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Burlington at 4:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for Greybull, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Shoshoni on the 3rd.
